RN – Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator

The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator supports the trauma program by managing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) program in accordance with accreditation standards.

  • They collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to evaluate trauma care, review cases, identify events, and ensure proper documentation.
  • They analyze trauma data, recognize trends, participate in corrective actions, and drive system improvements to enhance patient outcomes and maintain accreditation.
  • The role requires providing services with an understanding of patient developmental stages across all ages.
  • Qualified candidates must be licensed Registered Nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, at least 3 years of clinical experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care, and preferably experience in quality improvement.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential, along with familiarity with performance improvement methodologies.
  • The position offers a day shift within the United States and is a regular employee role at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia.
