This role supports the Trauma Program by managing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program in accordance with accreditation standards.
Collaborates with clinical teams and leadership to evaluate trauma care, review cases, identify events, and ensure proper documentation. Analyzes trauma data, detects trends, and participates in corrective actions to improve patient outcomes and maintain trauma center accreditation. Requires a Pennsylvania-licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, at least 3 years of clinical experience in Emergency, Trauma, or Critical Care, and preferably experience in quality improvement. Must have strong project management, data analysis, communication skills, and proficiency in computer systems. Experience with performance improvement methodologies is a plus. The position involves daytime work hours and serves individuals of all ages.
