The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for patient care within the department, supervising staff to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care on a shift-to-shift basis.
Practices autonomously within professional standards, regulations, and hospital policies. Develops collaborative practice, guides team members, and models clinical excellence. Participates in quality improvement, data analysis, and process enhancement initiatives like LEAN. Provides mentorship, education, and supports staff development, including new hires and graduates. Facilitates communication, conflict resolution, and promotes shared governance and organizational initiatives. Assists in staffing, evaluations, and maintaining compliance with professional and safety standards. Requirements include a valid RN license, relevant clinical experience, and preferred BSN or higher. Certifications like BLS and ACLS are required. The role involves night shifts with rotating weekends at a hospital setting.
