Position: Registered Nurse – Surgical Care Unit
Responsibilities: Provides professional nursing care in accordance with state laws and hospital policies. Assesses patient conditions, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and documents observations. Delegates appropriate tasks to staff and collaborates as part of a team to achieve unit goals.
Qualifications: Requires at least 1 year of RN experience in an inpatient setting. Must hold a current Illinois RN license and CPR certification. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred; an Associate Degree is acceptable if followed by a Bachelor’s within five years.
Skills: Critical thinking, patient assessment, care planning, team collaboration, and documentation skills are essential.
