Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, applying nursing knowledge and the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Use evidence-based interventions to meet care goals and evaluate patient progress regularly.
Document care activities accurately, ensuring compliance with policies.
Demonstrate professional accountability, maintain current clinical knowledge, and promote team development.
Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, perform bedside lab testing, and ensure patient safety.
Coordinate interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members.
Educate patients and families with tailored strategies considering age, culture, and developmental needs.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements to improve patient satisfaction and care standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with required certifications, including BLS within 30 days.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods, prioritize care, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
