Position Overview: This role is within the Cardiac Cath Lab, providing specialized cardiac care in an outpatient setting with advanced technology and multiple labs. The nurse will deliver direct patient care, implement and monitor care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, and manage physician and nursing orders. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid Alabama RN license, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and have a diploma from an accredited nursing program.
Skills and Key Duties: Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and coordination skills are essential. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac interventions such as heart catheterizations, PCI, IVUS, OCT, and functional assessments. The nurse will serve as a primary coordinator for patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and effective communication across disciplines.
