Role Overview: The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides perioperative care across multiple surgical service lines in a multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, age-specific patient care; communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families; perform safe operative nursing aligned with organizational and professional standards; and collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float Team Duties: Function as part of the ASC Float Team, working across at least three locations within the South Region, adapting to staffing and operational needs, and working varied shifts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); active Texas RN license or compact license
- 3+ years RN experience in Operating Room and ASC or hospital settings
- Basic computer skills; ability to travel between locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); ACLS and PALS certifications; experience in multi-site or float roles
