Position: Registered Nurse – Observation Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital
Type: Full-Time, 36 hours/week, night shift (7pm-7am) with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification
- Knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required)
- Experience in inpatient nursing and surgical care (preferred), ACLS certification (preferred)
