Position: Registered Nurse – Observation Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital
Hours: Part-Time, 24 hours/week, 7pm-7am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities include: delivering safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans; collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree), valid Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, knowledge of EKG interpretation, and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and inpatient nursing experience.
