Position: Registered Nurse – Observation Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital
Type: Full Time (36 hrs/week), working 7am-7pm with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if Associate Degree held
- Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification
- Knowledge of EKG interpretation; NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, inpatient nursing experience
