The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA is responsible for the 24-hour operation of a clinical department, ensuring high-quality, patient/family-centered care.
They define and maintain standards for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while managing team performance and developing policies.
The role applies advanced nursing and management knowledge to improve clinical, service, and operational efficiency, promoting innovation and cost-effective care.
Key duties include overseeing daily operations, fiscal management, staff development, and participating in organizational improvement initiatives.
The Nurse Manager fosters shared leadership, encourages team involvement, and may function as a staff RN when needed.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred Master’s in Business or Nursing, RN licensure, and relevant clinical and supervisory experience. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on the area.
Work is primarily day shift with no travel or weekend commitments.
