Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies, uphold professional standards, and coordinate care activities for assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- No experience required; new graduates are eligible. Hospital experience is preferred.
- Current Georgia RN license and BCLS certification are mandatory.
- Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialized pediatric and surgical certifications.
