This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) providing comprehensive nursing care across all patient age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies. The nurse will coordinate patient care activities, ensure adherence to practice standards, and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering quality patient care in various hospital units
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to coordinate activities
- Maintaining standards of practice and safety
- Obtaining and updating necessary certifications based on specialty
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
- BCLS certification required
- Preferred experience in hospital settings; new graduates are eligible
- Specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and others may be required based on unit
- Additional certifications may be needed for specialized units like Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Dialysis, Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Surgical Services, and Women’s Services
