Role: Charge RN, FT, MedSurg, responsible for coordinating high-quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, addressing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical care as needed.
Responsibilities: Ensure delivery of safe, effective nursing care; communicate patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership; serve as a resource and guide for staff members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Active RN license in the state or multistate licensure required
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and specialty certifications as applicable
- Additional certifications necessary based on unit (e.g., PALS for pediatric care)
Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, communication, leadership, and resourcefulness to support staff and patient care needs.
