Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within a multi-campus healthcare team, focusing on Med Surg patients. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating personalized care plans, building strong patient and family relationships, and ensuring optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, delivering individualized care.
- Foster meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
- Collaborate with team members to create a safe, respectful environment and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead and participate in evidence-based practice, research, and patient safety efforts.
- Proactively manage resources and care planning to enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience and proficiency with computer data entry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic technology; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage clinical emergencies effectively.
