Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and deliver safe, effective care according to policies and procedures.
- Document patient assessments, care delivered, and changes in condition accurately.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and healthcare team members.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
- Maintain professional licenses and certifications; pursue ongoing professional development and growth.
- Mentor and support the development of fellow nurses, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of Med Surg nursing experience highly preferred.
