Role Overview:
Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. Coordinate patient care with various departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Nursing degree (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN)
– Current RN license in the applicable state
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, etc., may be required based on the unit
– Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, and kneeling
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
– Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
