RN Med/Surg Days (Full-Time)

Role: Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient treatments. Serves as a primary point of contact between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions to develop and execute care plans.
  • Collaborate with care team members to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective care delivery.
  • Document assessments, care provided, patient education, and incidents accurately.
  • Address patient and family concerns, provide health education, and promote patient-centered care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
  • Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment and adherence to standards.
  • Support shared governance, uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills necessary.
