RN – Med/Surg – 9A – Live Well Homecare

We are seeking a registered nurse for a fast-paced 9A Medical-Surgical unit with 24 private beds, serving patients primarily over 17 years old with diverse diagnoses. Key responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, administering medications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing hands-on skills such as IV insertion, wound care, and tracheostomy care.

Develop and modify patient care plans based on assessments and ongoing evaluations.

Ensure patient safety through adherence to safety protocols and effective communication.

Document nursing care accurately, including assessments, interventions, and patient education.

Delegate tasks to HCTs and verify completion throughout shifts.

Prioritize patient safety, respond promptly to needs, and use critical thinking to assess patient status.

Maintain a positive work environment and foster teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications include a valid RN license, BLS certification, and relevant experience. Skills in assessment, communication, teamwork, and clinical procedures are essential.
