Role: Per Diem Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care, providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing services.
Responsibilities:
- Independently deliver patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients.
- Guide and oversee unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure quality interdisciplinary care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety outcomes and promote a positive patient experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in Illinois required.
- Graduate of a NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (AHA) required.
- Minimum of two years recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills specific to obstetric care.
