Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the GI Lab, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments. Ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained, and adheres to organizational standards.
Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care for outpatient and inpatient populations undergoing diagnosis, screening, or treatments like colonoscopies and endoscopies. Maintain professional accountability and evaluate care provided by team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current RN license in the state or with compact licensure
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Strong compassion, professionalism, collaboration, and advocacy skills
