RN – Full-Time – Extended Recovery Unit

Role Overview:
The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform the nursing process, and foster partnerships with patients and their families. The role involves coordinating care, implementing clinical standards, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Performing individualized clinical assessments, diagnoses, planning, and evaluations

Providing culturally sensitive, relationship-based care tailored to patient needs

Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education

Ensuring safe, quality care documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration

Participating in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice activities

Supporting professional development, mentoring, and maintaining competencies

Adhering to organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Less than 1 year of clinical care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
