We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with current RN licensure and BLS certification.
The role involves performing open-heart surgeries and managing complex cardiovascular procedures, equipment such as tandem heart, balloon pump, and heart-lung machines, along with hybrid CV suite operations.
The nurse will serve as a team leader, collaborating with physicians and staff to develop and execute individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Key qualifications include
- At least 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical experience (preferred)
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage increased workload
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with specialized equipment and procedures
The position requires adaptability to varying schedules, a high volume of on-call cases, and the capacity to effectively navigate challenging situations, providing compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
