The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, primarily for CVMS patients such as post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery patients.
Responsibilities include performing initial assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, documenting nursing care, and modifying plans based on patient evaluation.

Qualifications include a valid RN license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, ACLS certification within one year, and BLS certification within 30 days. A high school diploma or GED is required.
