Role: Registered Nurse, Cardiac Imaging
Responsibilities include:
- Performing stress testing and developing individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assessing patient health data, communicating care plans to patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Providing patient education tailored to cultural backgrounds and learning styles, including disease management and emergency care.
- Supporting technical staff with procedures such as contrast injections, venipuncture, and IV management.
- Participating in quality improvement activities, supporting research, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assisting in patient transportation and contributing to a compassionate, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in cardiac imaging; strong critical thinking skills; stress testing experience preferred.
Additional info: Must rotate sites in Highland Park, Gurnee, and Glenview, with one on-call Saturday per month. The role offers full-time hours with various shifts and a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
