Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse specializes in acute care, specifically in Orthopedic Surgical units, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. They practice according to evidence-based standards, uphold the nursing scope of practice, and adhere to professional ethics and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—focused on individualized patient outcomes.
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care, engaging patients and families through effective communication and education.
- Coordinate care with team members, ensuring documentation of safe, quality care and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance to promote safety and quality standards.
- Support professional development by completing required training, mentoring fellow staff, and serving as a preceptor.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
