RN – Acute Care – Orthopedic Surgery – Full-time Day Shift

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse in this role provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting. They follow evidence-based practices, uphold professional standards, and support system policies and ethical guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure individualized patient care.
  • Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient needs and characteristics.
  • Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
  • Coordinate safe, quality care by maintaining thorough documentation and fostering respectful team collaboration.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Assist in developing protocols, optimizing resource use, and supporting positive patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and healthcare staff to promote professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
  • Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
  • Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in clinical technology, documentation, and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
