Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, practicing under the guidance of Nurse Managers and supported by evidence-based standards and organizational models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members through interdisciplinary communication and shared governance.
- Support professional development by mentoring colleagues, completing competency assessments, and participating in research and performance improvement activities.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in protocol development, resource management, and patient care planning across the continuum.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking and emergency response skills.
- Proficient in technology and basic computer skills.
