Role: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating respiratory care treatments to meet patient needs. Ensures optimal patient and family experience through thorough assessments, care plan development, and effective communication with the healthcare team.
Key Duties: Administers therapeutic modalities (aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, secretion management), manages mechanical ventilators, provides patient education, assists with airway management, and supports intra-hospital transport. Collects blood samples, maintains safety standards, and supports procedural tasks like bronchoscopy and invasive monitoring. Acts as Shift Coordinator and preceptor when designated.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program; certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required; experience with high-tech equipment; strong communication and teamwork abilities; adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
