Respiratory Therapist (Registered)

Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) assesses patients’ respiratory needs, develops and implements treatment plans, and provides patient and family education.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, manage therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and artificial airway care. Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and non-invasive devices, assist with intra-hospital transport, and support emergency airway management. Collaborate with medical teams, assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive line placement, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Function as a Shift Coordinator and preceptor for students and new staff.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program with required educational credentials. Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and technical skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient safety.
