Job Summary
Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Duties
- Administers respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and patient needs.
- Evaluates patient conditions, monitors responses, and adjusts treatments as necessary.
- Maintains and calibrates respiratory equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Documents patient care activities accurately in medical records.
- Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.

Certification/Licensure
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
