Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
- Provides respiratory care according to physician orders and patient needs.
- Utilizes specialized equipment and techniques to deliver therapies.
- Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments accordingly.
- Maintains documentation of procedures and patient progress.
- Ensures safety and infection control standards are followed.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- Required Licensure: Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas, Registered Respiratory Therapist License, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
