Job Summary:
Perform respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate respiratory therapies.
- Administer treatments including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol medications.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
Experience: N/A
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
