Respiratory Care Specialist provides respiratory care across patient care settings.
- Deliver oxygen therapy and perform therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures.
- Manage ventilators and provide emergency respiratory support.
- Conduct blood gas analysis and interpret results to guide care decisions.
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and adjust interventions as needed.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate clinical findings and care updates with the healthcare team.
- Support patient education related to respiratory therapy and care plans.
Key qualifications/skills: strong respiratory therapy knowledge, proficiency with oxygen delivery and ventilator management, ability to perform blood gas analysis, accurate documentation, effective teamwork and communication, and commitment to patient safety and compliance.
