Role: Provides respiratory care to pediatric patients, assessing needs, implementing treatments, and monitoring outcomes.
Responsibilities: Develops care plans, administers prescribed therapies, evaluates medication effectiveness, educates patients and families, maintains equipment, and responds to medical emergencies. Performs advanced respiratory modalities, ensures safety, and maintains departmental supplies.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent; valid RRT licensure in MO; BLS certification; pediatric experience preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and technical skills; ability to respond calmly in emergencies; physical ability to perform lifting, standing, and equipment maintenance. Must work collaboratively within a team.
