Resident Care Director – RN

Role: The Resident Care Director (RCD) is the clinical leader responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination within a community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
  • Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
  • Monitor changes in resident conditions and collaborate with physicians and clinical partners
  • Oversee medication management and infection control initiatives
  • Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
  • Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state/provincial, and nursing regulations
  • Recruit, train, and manage clinical staff performance
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budget
  • Partner with sales to evaluate move-in suitability

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Strong clinical leadership and nursing management experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and infection control protocols
  • Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent team management and collaboration skills

Key Duties: Ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care, maintaining regulatory compliance, leading clinical teams, and driving continuous improvement to elevate resident health and wellness.
