Residency Program Director & Hematology Oncology Clinical Pharmacist

Role: The Pharmacy Residency Program Director and Hematology Oncology Pharmacist is responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, focusing on safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology medication management, including review, dosing, and safety monitoring.
  • Oversee the residency program, ensuring accreditation compliance and fostering professional growth.
  • Mentor pharmacy residents, students, and staff to promote clinical excellence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies and resolve drug-related issues.
  • Participate in clinical rounds and offer expert consultation on pharmacotherapy.
  • Develop evidence-based protocols, oversee medication dispensing, and analyze medication utilization and financial data.
  • Manage pharmacy operations, staff performance, recruitment, and competency development.
  • Provide educational updates and ensure regulatory, accreditation, and organizational compliance.
  • Develop budgets, performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctoral Degree preferred.

Work Environment: Clinical setting with responsibilities spanning operational, clinical, and educational domains.
