Role Overview: A Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental standards and state regulations. Collaborates with medical teams to provide personalized, compassionate care, acting as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
Perform procedures, monitor responses, administer medications, and document care thoroughly.
Respond to patient requests proactively, anticipating needs and resolving issues.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum one year RN experience, preferably in hospital settings.
Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; BLS certification required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
Preferred: Specialty certification and additional education.
