Role Overview:
Seeking dedicated physicians licensed in multiple states to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, addiction medicine, and urgent care. The role involves delivering patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting lab tests, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Physicians must maintain accurate documentation, stay updated on medical advancements, and utilize telehealth platforms effectively.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional virtual patient care and build therapeutic relationships
Order and interpret lab tests for informed treatment decisions
Prescribe medications, with guidance on proper usage
Collaborate with healthcare team members and support staff
Maintain thorough medical documentation
Stay current with medical and telehealth advancements
Qualifications & Skills:
Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, states (including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX)
Experience in telehealth or high-volume clinical settings
DEA certification and applicable CSL, if required
Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence
Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, over four days
