Role Overview
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5+ years of experience to join the respiratory team. The role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, ensuring patient safety through effective, age-appropriate treatments that adhere to quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures following established protocols.
- Communicating effectively with the healthcare team and documenting care activities.
- Educating patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures.
- Applying advanced clinical skills, including support for ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep studies.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS).
- Ability to perform multiple duties, prioritize tasks, and seek continuous learning.
