Key responsibilities
- Administer oxygen and other respiratory therapies.
- Manage and monitor ventilators and related support equipment.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including blood gas analysis.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide urgent interventions.
- Evaluate patient response, adjust treatment as indicated, and document outcomes.
- Educate patients on respiratory care and treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
- Applicable state respiratory therapy license.
