Position Overview:
This nursing role involves providing professional care across Pediatric, PICU, Mother/Baby, NICU, and SCN units at two hospitals. The nurse will assess patient conditions, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring compliance with state nursing laws and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care with critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and document observations accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet unit goals and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Delegate appropriate care tasks to staff members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- One to two years of PICU and NICU experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing; Baccalaureate in Nursing required within five years if applicable.
- Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
