We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU).
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to adults with complex medical conditions based on evidence-based practices.
- Monitoring vital signs, neurological, respiratory, renal functions, infection indicators, and patient responses, intervening promptly when needed.
- Administering medications, treatments, and procedures with accuracy and clinical judgment.
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educating patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining patient safety.
- Providing holistic, compassionate care aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license (state-specific).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred skills and competencies:
- Experience in medical‑surgical, telemetry, or progressive care settings.
- ACLS certification (or within a specified timeframe).
- Strong assessment, cardiac rhythm interpretation, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
