Role Overview: A skilled Nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification required.
