This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Progressive Care Department, providing direct patient care in a technically complex environment, primarily in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient safety, and contributing to quality care.
- Precepting and mentoring new staff and embracing evidence-based practices in a fast-paced setting.
- Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN licensure, at least 6 months ICU or PCU experience or completion of a fellowship, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
