Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care activities in the cath lab and interventional radiology, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities include: conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and coordinating individualized care plans, implementing and documenting nursing interventions, evaluating patient progress, and modifying care as needed.
Additional duties: providing patient education, assisting physicians during procedures, practicing safety and infection control, delivering service excellence, participating in quality improvement, and providing age-appropriate and specialized care.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in applicable states, ALS certification, and at least one year of medical-surgical experience; critical care or post-anesthesia experience preferred.
Skills: strong assessment, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills; adherence to safety protocols; ability to handle emergency situations; and proficiency in documentation.
