Registered Nurse – Specialty Care Unit

Role: The Registered Nurse leads the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support a peaceful death.

Responsibilities: Utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journey. Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for managing and providing care according to current policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; a 4-year/bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Current RN license in the appropriate state is required.

One year of relevant experience is preferred.

For inactive licenses over five years, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is necessary prior to reinstatement.
