Role Overview:
Join the new PACU team in a 10-bay unit providing 24/7 post-operative care for diverse surgical and interventional procedures. The RN will recover patients from anesthesia, IV, and conscious sedation, requiring acute and ICU-level care. Responsibilities include collaborating across disciplines, establishing workflows, and ensuring quality patient care through teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut RN License
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in PACU and/or ICU preferred
- Training available for step-down and Emergency Department RNs
