Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology – Acute Care

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by Nurse Managers and leadership. They adhere to the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, evidence-based practices, and the standards outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, patient-centered care to diverse patient populations
  • Support system policies, uphold the voice of the patient, and promote service excellence
  • Participate in a shared governance model fostering professional development
  • Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care

  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Associate or diploma in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
    • Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
    • Less than one year of clinical experience; direct patient care experience preferred
