Role Overview: The RN Resident is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while successfully completing a comprehensive 12-month Nurse Residency Program.
Key Responsibilities: Performing the nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation; delivering culturally competent care; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams; participating in performance improvement initiatives; serving as a preceptor or mentor; promoting evidence-based practice and research; and supporting resource management.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a diploma from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure (multi-state preferred), Basic Life Support certification, and less than one year of RN experience. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and adherence to professional standards.
